We are so proud to have had such growth in our Education and Community Partnerships programs, including our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert, the Greenfield Student Competition, and our Student Open Rehearsals! As a result of all these wonderful initiatives, the Orchestra was given a generous founding gift from pop artist Billy Joel to help provide local students with access to Philadelphia Orchestra concerts. In conjunction with Mr. Joel’s support, Wachovia Bank has generously agreed to fully match every gift made to the Education Fund.

	free tickets to a Philadelphia Orchestra School Concert
	teacher training to help prepare the students before the concert
	a school bus to transport students to and from the performance
	an opportunity for the students to personally thank you for your support

Not only will you be supporting the arts in the School District of Philadelphia, but you will be joining Billy Joel and Wachovia Bank in providing access to a Philadelphia Orchestra performance for children who normally would not be able to attend.
