Jul 2, 2013 Great Plaza at Penn's LandingThe Philadelphia Orchestra returns for a 6th season to present another FREE Neighborhood Concert on the RiverStage at the Great Plaza, presented by Wells Fargo. The concert will be followed by a land-side fireworks display.
Getting ready for the 2012-13 season - Principal Bassoon Daniel Matsukawa
In addition to holding the position of principal bassoon with the Orchestra, Daniel Matsukawa teaches at Temple University and the Curtis Institute of Music. With little downtime and a need to warm up his instrument on the fly, he's come up with a cool way of "killing five birds with one stone."
